Jagan’s Actions Damaging AP’s Image: Chandrababu

Chandrababu criticises Jagan over AP political violence

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has accused YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of damaging the state’s reputation through alleged political violence and attempts to disrupt local body elections.

Addressing a media conference at the TDP office in Undavalli on Saturday, Chandrababu alleged that YSRCP was creating law-and-order problems that could affect Andhra Pradesh‘s development.

He criticised Jagan’s political approach, describing it as dangerous to the state’s interests. Chandrababu also alleged that YSRCP had filed 59 petitions to obstruct local elections and prevent funds from reaching local bodies.

The Chief Minister accused YSRCP workers of involvement in violent incidents in Punganur, Rayachoti, Kanigiri, Darsi, Kadapa and Tirupati. He further alleged that the party was misleading courts while presenting itself as a victim.

Chandrababu also criticised Jagan over family disputes involving YS Sharmila, using the term “Kamsa Mama” while referring to allegations concerning her daughter’s wedding.

During the media conference, Chandrababu displayed videos alleging YSRCP involvement in violence and released a booklet titled Ade Himsa, Ave Abaddhalu, Ave Araachakalu (Same Violence, Same Lies, Same Atrocities).

The allegations come amid continuing disputes between the ruling alliance and YSRCP over the local body elections. YSRCP has separately accused ruling alliance supporters of obstructing its candidates from filing nominations.
