With just 6 days left for its theatrical release, the makers of Mega Prince Varun Tej starrer Korean Kanakaraju have dropped its theatrical trailer. Unveiled by Mega Power Star Ram Charan, the trailer introduces a crazy supernatural entertainer that banks heavily on an unusual concept and energetic storytelling.
The trailer revolves around a young man from Penukonda whose life takes an unbelievable turn after the spirit of a notorious Korean gangster enters his body. From that point onwards, the film embraces complete madness, mixing paranormal elements with hilarious situations, emotional moments, and high-voltage action.
Director Merlapaka Gandhi built the film around this striking contrast. The narrative constantly shifts between comedy and thrills, keeping the proceedings lively while never revealing too much about the larger mystery.
Varun Tej looks completely at ease in a role that demands constant transformation. One moment he is an innocent, fun-loving youngster, and the next he exudes the swagger and menace of a dreaded gangster. His dialogue delivery, expressions, and body language make the transition highly convincing. Satya steals several moments with his trademark comic timing, while Ritika Naik lends charm to the romantic portions.
The trailer is equally strong on the technical front. Manojh Reddy Katasani’s cinematography, and S Thaman’s pulsating background score are other big assets. The lavish production standards of UV Creations and First Frame Entertainment are visible all through.
Judging by the trailer, Korean Kanakaraju appears to have all the ingredients of a box-office winner. The movie hits theatres on August 7.
