‘Manam’ is a very special movie in the history of Telugu Film Industry not for being legendary ANR’s last film but also for having three generations of actors from the same family coming together. Nagarjuna’s ‘Manam’ infact ignited interest amongst other families to make a family movie of their own. One is said to be Daggubati family and the other is Saikumar’s Pudipeddi family. The latest to join in the ‘Manam’ dream wagon is Nandamuri family.

Hence wants to reamke ‘Manam’ in Kannada, where Saikumar has a big name. Sources close to him claim that Aadi is going to make his Kannada movie debute with ‘Manam’ remake. And regarding the remake rights, they are confident that Nagarjuna wouldn’t have any reservations to give them the rights. It is the matter of only asking him and he would readily agree.
Saikumar’s dad, PJ Sharma isn’t well these days. Once his health improves, the necessary permissions and other things regarding the movie would roll on. But the millior dollar question is will Nag really give the remake rights to Saikumar? Recently Vikram Kumar, the director of Akkineni family film said that ‘Manam’ can’t be remade and that is the uniqueness of the story.
