Ahead of Gandhi Jayanthi, More Time to Booze in Telangana

One day ahead of Gandhi Jayanthi, Telangana Government has brought in a new liquor policy which increases the time of liquor sale by Two Hours every day. Until now, Liquor shops are permitted to open from 11 AM to 10 PM.

But from today, the businesses can be open from 10 AM to 11 PM which is to have more sales and additional income to the government. One additional hour of business in the nights means there will be a lot of nuisance and increase of crime.

Let us hope this new policy will not bring new problems to the state government and police. The state government also mandated CCTV Cameras before every shop and the cameras should be connected to the Control Room.
