YSR Congress is the only political party in all of India to oppose the Amaravati resolution that was presented in the Lok Sabha and Raja Sabha this week and the party is facing significant backlash for this pointless activity.
Now this brings us to the happening question about what could happen to Amaravati, just in case Jagan becomes the CM again. Will Jagan have the authority to change the capital again from Amaravati to a different city? Is his much-trolled MAVIGUN really feasible?
Chief minister, Chandrababu took some time to answer these questions briefly, and here is his clarification on this matter.
“I don’t understand the need for him (Jagan) to do something such unwarranted. Why does he want to change the capital so desperately? We have collectively decided and announced one capital. There is no changing it in the future. Only a Tughlaq might try to bend these rules.”
Chandrababu further added that the judiciary and legislation will not let anyone do whatever they want, just because they have power. If Jagan really tries to play with the capital again, he might be sent to jail or to a mental institution, Babu remarked.
Chandrababu has affirmatively clarified the doubts and apprehensions that people had about Jagan possibly missing with Amaravati again, and this clarification provides consolidation to the common folk.
A social media user funnily tweeted out that no other state in the country would be scared of a former CM coming back to power and plotting to change the capital, just for the sake of it but AP people are having to deal with it.
