Telangana Government bidding for the Vishaka Steel Plant is creating a Political Trouble for Jagan Mohan Reddy Government. Obviously, it is a shame when own government could not save the project while the neighbouring government is coming in.
Minister Gudivada Amarnath is trying to do the damage control and he is handling it in worst possible way.
“Government of India is the head government of the country. If the GoI says it can not run the project, obviously the state governments can not. It is not right to take up the issue and politicise it,” he said to the media.
Amar is trying to demotivate Telangana Government from taking up the project. Doing it when his own government can not do anything is bigger shame than any thing.
Amar also appears to have agreed it is difficult to run the Steel Plant, thereby is justifying the Government of India’s plan to privatise the Steel Plant.
Meanwhile, a delegation of Telangana officials and the Singareni Colleries will be visiting the Steel Plant tomorrow to study all possible options before bidding for the Steel Plant.
