A little subplot in the story is Purna Chandra’s ex wife coming in front of camera and claiming her husband to be innocent. She said she left Purna Chandra after knowing about his affair.
If one goes deeper into the story so far, Swetcha was married and divorced twice before getting acquainted with Purna Chandra. For Purna Chandra, it was an extra-marital affair. But he promised to marry Swetcha despite being married.

The cases have been filed, Purna Chandra has been presented before the Court and the police say they will reveal all details soon, officially.
However, it has to be noted that there is heavy speculation around the case and everybody seems to have an opinion on the death.

But one thing is clear. Swetcha Votarkar and Purna Chandra are like many people in India, irrespective of their profession, who are involved in complex relationships in their quest for looking for an ‘ideal partner’ and ‘ideal marriage’.
It has to be understood that Swetcha Votarkar is an isolated case in the television world. Many women work in television industry and it would be wrong to label the industry as being wanton.
Over exposure of the issue on social media and debates by anyone and everyone can lead to demotivation of those looking to make a career in the audio-visual world.
