The BJP high command has invited its alliance partner in Andhra Pradesh, Jana Sena, to attend the NDA meeting on July 18th. With this move, the BJP has indicated that it considers Jana Sena its only alliance partner in the state.
Surprisingly, the cadre of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is pleased that Pawan Kalyan has received an invitation to the NDA meeting. However, 90% of the TDP cadre is not interested in forming an alliance with the BJP.
In two different ways, leaders of the YSRCP are attempting to prevent a possible alliance between the TDP and Jana Sena in the upcoming elections. Firstly, they are targeting Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan and challenging him to contest alone in all 175 segments of the state.
YSRCP leaders have chosen Pawan Kalyan as their primary target, knowing that an alliance between the TDP and Jana Sena would pose a threat to their party. They seize every opportunity to criticize him.
Secondly, Jagan, the leader of YSRCP, is engaging in backdoor politics to create a divide between the TDP and Jana Sena. Whenever he meets with Modi and Shah, Jagan subtly hints that they should not trust Chandrababu. Both the TDP and YSRCP cadres are happy that the TDP did not receive an invitation to the NDA meeting in Delhi.
