Aswini Dutt’s comment on the Nandi awards ruffled the feathers of the YSR Congress and the Blue media supporting it.
Speaking about the Government not giving Nandi awards, Aswini Dutt, the other day, said, “The ongoing season is different. These days, they will give awards for Best Goonda and Best Rowdy. Days will come for films to get awards. We will have that time grandly in 2-3 years. Then, we will all get awards”.
Blue media got offended by this comment of Aswini Dutt even though they are very aware that the entire industry endorses the statement. They are trying to brand Aswini Dutt as a casteist and unleashed Posani Krishna Murali on him with his usual abuses.
They are trying to blackmail Dutt saying “You are lucky because Anni Manchi Sakunamule (Vyjayanthi’s May 18th release) is a small film or else you would have faced trouble. Luckily for Project K, Prabhas and his friends at UV Creations are in the good books of the Chief Minister”.
We do not know if Aswini Dutt gave it a thought before saying this Government will give awards for Best Goonda and Best Rowdy. But Blue Media is endorsing his comment.
Only Rowdies and Goondas will threaten and blackmail people of attacks on others just because they do not like others or their opinions. It happened with Rajinikanth the other day and is happening with Aswini Dutt now.
If there is an audacity to openly threaten consequences to films, then it is nothing but blackmail which only Goondas and Rowdies do. The tragedy is normalizing it as if it is a routine process in a Government.
Then, there is this attempt to hit Aswini Dutt from the shoulders of his daughters, Swapna and Priyanka.
Both of them are known for their dynamism in the industry. They have achieved something not many in the industry could do within a short time. It’s not that they fear someone and control Dutt but they just do not want to throw stones in the mud.
Coming to Project K, the movie releases just months before the elections. No one in the right mind would trouble the film and face the consequences in the elections.
