Telugu Desam Party had allied with Janasena and BJP in this election. TDP cadre did not like the idea of alliances this time as they believed they had a chance by going alone.
Also, Janasena was anywhere between 40-75 seats back then. But then, Chandrababu surprised everyone by convincing Pawan Kalyan for 24 seats.
But BJP getting ten assembly seats and six MP seats is something they can not comprehend. The Saffron Party arm-twisting Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan is something they could not digest.
BJP troubling leaders like Raghu Rama Krishna Raju, Nallamilli Ramakrishna Reddy, Paritala Sriram, and others tested the patience of the cadre.
Everyone expected the Seat-sharing to be a mess with Rebels.
But then, Chandrababu Naidu surprised everyone by handling the Rebels very well. It has surprised even the Political Pandits about how smooth it is.
The best examples of this are Mylavaram and Undi.
Mylavaram is not an issue due to the alliance but the internal group politics ensured there is no seat to Devineni Uma.
Chandrababu gave a ticket to his arch-rival Vasantha Krishna Prasad.
After the initial friction, Vasantha reached out to Uma for support and the latter agreed to.
The other day, Vasantha went to Uma’s office and invited him for his nomination. Both of them posed to the cameras without any inhibitions.
It is also the case in Undi.
Raghu Rama Krishna Raju had to be airdropped in Undi after the BJP messed up the Narasapuram Parliament.
Undi has Manthena Rama Raju as the Sitting MLA. He already worked hard on the ground and spent so much. He was announced as the candidate but was changed just before the nominations.
Everyone expected Rama Raju to revolt but he was seen affectionately hugging RRR in a party meeting and he also attended the Nomination Rally today.

The way Chandrababu handled the Rebels in this election is surprising to the Political Pandits. Probably, the leaders do not want to defy the party since it is coming to power.
