Other IPC offences showed a decline from 22 percent to 17 percent. Police said this indicates better control in certain categories. However, the rise in property and road related crimes remains a concern.
Cyber crime cases showed a reduction, dropping from 40 percent to 35 percent. Victims’ financial losses also fell sharply from Rs 793 crore to Rs 440 crore. This marks a significant improvement in cyber crime control.

Police seized drugs worth Rs 16.85 crore during the year. Drink and drive cases reduced to 15,706, and Rs 239 crore was collected through challans. Several enforcement measures contributed to this decline.
Cyberabad traffic pulse and traffic marshals were introduced to reduce road accidents. These initiatives helped improve traffic discipline. Police said awareness and monitoring played a key role.
She Teams caught 3,315 offenders involved in crimes against women. Under Operation Muskaan, special teams rescued 2,298 children. These efforts focused on safety and protection.
Overall, Cyberabad police said crime remained under control in Hyderabad. Coordinated efforts by various police units helped maintain law and order across the region.
