TDP president Nara Chandrababu Naidu accused YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of torturing the people of Andhra Pradesh and ruining their lives during his rule in the last five years.
During an interaction with women in Srikakulam, Chandrababu Naidu claimed that Jagan’s tenure had destroyed the state and requested people to dethrone him in the upcoming elections.
“We should always create wealth and increase income. The increased income should be used for the development of the state and the welfare of people. Even a musalamma (old woman) can press a button, by bringing debts. That is not leadership,” said Chandrababu.
“One who creates wealth, provides jobs, and takes the country forward is a true leader. One who loots the wealth, tortures people, and takes the country back is stupid,” he added.
Describing the TDP as a maternal home for women in the state, he pledged to serve the state’s people as a responsible elder son.
Chandrababu Naidu pledged to provide financial support of Rs.15,000 to each school-going child under the “Ammaku Vandanam” initiative and ensure water access for every household.
He also committed to offering Rs.10 lakh in financial aid to DWCRA groups, interest-free loans for women, and housing on small plots of land for women who don’t have their own homes.
Additionally, he also promised a pension of Rs.4,000 for elderly citizens and Rs.6,000 for the disabled. Chandrababu Naidu urged the public to use their votes wisely to dethrone YCP government from power on May 13th.
