Another drug party has been busted in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. The police raided a co-living space in TNGO Colony and arrested 12 people along with one supplier from Karnataka. The party took place at DM Luxury Guest Room and Co-Living Guest Room, where officials also seized a large quantity of drugs. A Nigerian national was among those arrested.
According to the police, Teja Krishna and Lokesh Reddy were caught at the co-living hostel. Based on their information, four others were arrested later from Hotel Night Eye. In total, 13 people have been taken into custody, while six others are still absconding. Among those arrested, six were peddlers and five were customers.
The police said that Krishna Teja, who is from Kadapa, was buying drugs from two Nigerians based in Karnataka. Both Nigerians are currently on the run, and police teams are working to catch them soon. Krishna Teja reportedly sold drugs to students and youngsters in the city. He also has three NDPS cases already registered against him.
Despite frequent raids, Gachibowli continues to face an alarming rise in drug-related activities. Police officials have assured that they are tightening surveillance and tracking networks to curb the growing menace.
