Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu delivered an emotional speech while paying homage to Bhuma Nagi Reddy in the state assembly. Naidu listed out the personal and professional achievements of Bhuma and later remembered his personal rapport with the Nandhyala MLA.

“It is a big tragedy losing parents in the span of three years. No one can suffice that pain. But then, I will always stand by the family. I have only one son and do not have a daughter. Akhila Priya is my daughter from now,” Chandrababu said.
Naidu found fault with the Opposition Leader skipping the homage session. “I and YSR had severe differences. He even abused me in the assembly. But then I went to Idupulapaya to console when YSR is dead. This is not at all acceptable,” Naidu added.
