Andhra Pradesh politics heavily revolve around power dynamics related to the NDA alliance and the solitary party of YSR Congress. Historically, Jagan was never able to beat the alliance as he ended up losing both times this amalgamation was materialised.
A large section of YCP supporters proudly say neither TDP, JSP, or BJP can’t defeat Jagan individually but at the end of the day, they miss the point that winning the election is more important than thigh slaps. And anyway, alliances and political coming togethers are as old as politics itself so there’s nothing new or taboo about it.
And now we have the case of senior polticial intellectual Undavalli Arun Kumar, who has made every optimistic and hopeful comment about Jagan possibility returning to power in 2029. He says, in case there is a rift in the alliance and things fall apart, Jagan would return to power.
Well, Arun Kumar is bound to have his own political opinion, and there is no cross questioning it. But the crucial point that is of great importance here is that Pawan Kalyan, who is the main cementing factor of the alliance himself has been repeatedly saying the alliance will continue for 15+ years if not more.
BJP is anyway in a comfortable position as they have the complete support of AP leadership including TDP and JSP in the parliament. They would never want to lose the expertise of a veteran like Chandrababu either. Parallelly, Janasena is also enjoying a position of power which will keep them a happy bunch.
While there is so much synchrony in the alliance, any question about a possible cracking in this alliance prospect is beyond doubt. Subsequently, the optimistic comment by Undavalli would be regarded as nothin more than wishful thinking.
