Jagan: ‘In Credit Chori, Chandrababu Is Peak’

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy speaks on Google data center

YSRCP leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy addressed the media from his Tadepalli residence, speaking about the upcoming Google data center in Vizag. He credited the YSRCP government, Adani Group, the central government, and the Singapore government for making the project possible.

Jagan said his government had laid the foundation stone for the project in 2023. He criticised Chandrababu Naidu, saying “in credit chori Chandrababu is peak, performance weak,” and accused him of running the state like an ad agency.

Discussing the data center, Jagan said, “For the past week, everyone is talking about it, but governance has gone to the wind. Chandrababu is known for not giving credit to others.”

He added that the agreement for the Google data center was signed in April 2020, and the foundation was laid on May 3, 2023. According to Jagan, Adani Infra is building the facility, but Chandrababu has avoided mentioning Adani to deny YSRCP credit.

Jagan stated that Adani is investing ₹87,000 crore in the project and has business ties with Google. He claimed Chandrababu is hesitant to acknowledge Adani or thank the group out of political fear.

Jagan further said, “They are giving a buildup that the Google data center came because of Babu. But the center builds an ecosystem, not direct jobs. We planned an IT park, recreation zone, and skill centre to create 25,000 jobs.”

He concluded by reiterating, “Chandrababu is weak in efficiency, but peak in credit chori.”
