YSRCP has been losing sitting MLAs and MPs at a rate that is not usual for a ruling party before the election. The new addition to the list is former minister and sitting MLA from Penamaluru, Kolusu Parthasarathy who has quit the party and will join TDP on the 18th of this month.
Speaking with the media after his departure from YSRCP, the MLA made a very interesting comment.
“What was my crime to be rejected? Not abusing Chandrababu and other opposition leaders? Or not resorting to power abuse politics? They wanted me to go to the Gannavaram constituency, knowing this party would not win the election. When I rejected, they asked me to part ways” the senior MLA said.
Amidst the existing commotion that YCP is giving MLA tickets to only those who abuse the opposition camps in the state, this comment coming from sitting YCP MLA shows the kind of problematic stance YCP has in politics.
