Nandhyala will go for by-election anytime in the next six months. The by-election is necessitated due to the sudden demise of Bhuma Nagi Reddy. However, there is a peculiar scenario here. Bhuma is a YSR Congress MLA shifted to TDP. His family members are expecting TDP ticket in the by-elections.

But then, Shilpa Mohan Reddy who contested here in 2014 and lost is seeking the same seat since Bhuma Akhila Priya is already given a cabinet berth. Shilpa is ready to shift to YSR Congress if he is not given the seat. The Chief Minister reportedly asked Shilpa to come and meet him.
On the other side, YSR Congress is also putting up the candidate in this election. TDP is certain to give the ticket to Bhuma family according to the public sentiment. It has to be seen how they convince Shilpa and avert a possible revolt.
