Probably, he may have thought of doing it after winning the 2023 election but we all know what happened. Now all eyes are on Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh.

While the temporary demand is to make Lokesh the Deputy CM, the ultimate goal is to make him the Chief Minister.

There are people who say Chandrababu should make Lokesh the CM in the next year and give at least three years for him to settle down and prove himself.

Some people say this is not the right time as it will give the opposition a chance to say he became the CM through Backdoor.

They are reminding how Lokesh faced similar criticism when he was made a Minister after becoming an MLC.

Yes, there was noise by the Opposition back then. But if we look back, where is that noise now?

Nobody is talking about it now. It is all about earning the necessary acceptance after becoming the CM.

Back then when Lokesh was made the Minister, his track record was completely unproven. So the Opposition had the space to spread their propaganda.

But he is an accomplished leader who steered the TDP party out of trouble, a leader who did over 3,200 Kilometers of Padayatra, and someone who won a seat with a sensational majority (in a seat where TDP did not win for 39 years).




Even though there will be initial noise, it will be temporary. It will all boil down to if there is enough time for him to prove himself.
