Wild Delhi Rumour: PM Post Offer to CBN? Lokesh Responds

Nara Lokesh on PM post rumour

A highly talked-about rumour has been circulating in political circles regarding a secret meeting between top corporate and political figures.

The speculation claimed that industrialist Anil Ambani attempted to destabilise Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government by working alongside Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar.

According to these unverified reports, Ambani approached TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu with an offer to become the Prime Minister, but Naidu immediately rejected the proposal and informed PM Modi.

During a discussion at the Express AoDA summit, Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh addressed these specific rumors when asked about a highly discussed, closed-door meeting involving a corporate leader, a top constitutional official, and his father.

Lokesh dismissed the entire scenario as completely baseless, calling it a recurring piece of fiction that surfaces every few months to create unnecessary doubt about the TDP’s position within NDA. He made it clear that no such proposal ever took place.

Lokesh explained that while he did happen to meet the person named in the rumours, the meeting was entirely routine and the timing was a complete coincidence.

To maintain full transparency, Lokesh personally met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a 30-minute discussion to clarify the context of the meeting and prevent any misunderstandings.

According to Lokesh, PM Modi laughed off the rumors and encouraged him to keep meeting people, noting that as a politician, open communication with various leaders is essential for receiving valuable feedback.

Lokesh concluded by reaffirming that the TDP’s support for PM Modi remains completely unconditional and focused entirely on the economic development of Andhra Pradesh.
