The government of Andhra Pradesh has been taken several measures with regard to employment creation and also the green energy project. Considering that AP has vast resources of coastal line and solar available areas, green energy is a great area to explore.
Now the IT minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Lokesh has played a crucial role in the establishment of another Green energy project in the state.
Incidentally, Lokesh inaugurated the Tata Power Renewables‘ 800 MW Renewable Energy Project in Andhra Pradesh. The project comprises 400 MW of solar and 400 MW of wind power, with Suzlon executing the wind component in Ananthapur.
This is going to be one of the big green projects in Andhra Pradesh’s recent history and it is expected to generate a significant human workforce employment opportunity as well.
Lokesh was seen interacting with representatives of Tata and Suzlon at the inauguration ceremony today, and the whole event had a very festive atmosphere. Such proactive pitch for investments and construction projects was a distant dream in the previous tenure but things have changed drastically now.
