According to the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act, Center had announced tax relief to nine old backward districts till March 1, 2020. As part of the subsidy, 15 percent subsidy on investment will be provided by Center. The Central Government also gives 50 Crore to each backward district.
Accordingly, nine out of the 10 districts get Central aid previously. With the increase in districts, the funds should also increase. Hence, the center had not notified the new districts so far in its official gazette. Even for zonal recruitments, the Center was objecting to including the names of new districts as they are not found in the 1975 Presidential Order.
