However, on the negative side, netizens also mocked the introduction of another app since the Indian railways already has multiple other apps.
Here’s what one X user wrote, “trains is what India needs, but @RailMinIndia is giving us new apps.” Another one tweeted, “Can it handle such a big load and run smoothly?”
RailOne is a one-stop solution that easily eliminates the need for juggling between multiple railway apps like IRCTC Rail Connect, NTES, UTSonMobile, and Rail Madad. It streamlines all activities like booking, live train tracking, food ordering, and managing refunds.
Some of its notable features include the “Plan My Journey” tool, coach position finder, real-time PNR, and platform updates.
Moreover, you also have multilingual support to cater to India’s diverse population. Now, anyone can do secure R-Wallet payments with biometric and mPIN authentication on RailOne. This allows users to log in using existing IRCTC or UTS credentials.
RailOne also introduces improved customer support via Rail Madad. So, passengers can quickly lodge complaints and track their resolution directly. Hence, there is no denying that RailOne is set to become every traveller’s key railway companion.
However, the question remains: will RailOne be able to live up to the expectations? Let’s wait and watch.
