Jagan Mohan Reddy Government fell to yet another low targeting the Opposition. This time Minister Ambati Rambabu who called for a Special Pressmeet to discuss the collections and Box Office performance of Pawan Kalyan‘s Bro.
He read out the collections of Bro on Monday and until Monday and ruled it out as an utter disaster film.

He further warned film makers and writers against wrongful portrayal of politicians in films. He named Trivikram in specific alleging him the mastermind behind the Shyam Babu character which resembles his own character.
He warned that such attempts are going to be punishable going forward.

We do not know how Rambabu picked this habit of tracking movie collections and deciding their fate but it can be a very bad and depressing habit if he goes on doing it for every film.
The collections of YSR Congress sponsored films especially those directed by Ram Gopal Varma and Mahi V Raghav are going to be disastrous. Even diaster can be a small word.

For Yatra, YSR Congress MLAs and Ticket aspirants had to do bulk bookings and distribute free tickets to take the propaganda into the people.
For the films RGV made, it is even worse. The films do not even have 10s of audience across both the Telugu States and even the OTT and satellite rights do not get sold.
If Rambabu picks up this collections tracking habit as a hobby, the collections of YSRCP propaganda films like RGV‘s Vyooham and Mahi V Raghav‘s Yatra 2 can be depressing for him.
And then, if the Minister is serious about punishing those who portray political leaders in a wrong way, he better warn YCP Aasthana Director Ram Gopal Varma first.
But then, rule of law is different in every single case in Andhra Pradesh. We have been seeing that for around five years now.
