On the face of it, it is clear that the coming election is not going to be one-sided as YSR Congress is dreaming. YSR Congress has used its full force to ensure unanimous elections.

Even on the day of the polling, we have seen the YSR Congress cadre creating a ruckus at polling stations in many places. Volunteers were seen going door to door influencing voters by scaring them their schemes will be lost if they do not vote for YSR Congress.

The district collectors and state election commission remained mute spectators. That should be the biggest cause of worry for TDP.

This result can be termed as a decent result for TDP. This result even when there is so much pressure is a danger signal.

These elections also reveal the weak links in TDP as well. Several in-charges across the districts are still lazy. They could not ensure candidates in many places. Some have put up candidates but did not fight to win the elections.

Some have taken the poll management light. It is for Chandrababu to see what is happening and decide how to address this.

Furthermore, this is the condition in villages where the impact of the schemes is high. If the confidence is real, they should opt for Municipal and corporation elections that are pending for many months. That will show the real face.

If YSR Congress leaders and cadre take this result on the face of it. It is for them to get disappointed in the Assembly elections. They should also understand the authenticity of the surveys predicting 24-25/25 seats for the YSR Congress.
