Forbes magazine has released its list of India’s 100 richest people for 2025, and six Telugu industrialists have made it to the prestigious lineup.
As expected, Mukesh Ambani tops the national list with a net worth of ₹9.32 lakh crore. Even though the country’s total billionaire wealth has slightly dropped, six prominent Telugus continue to hold their place among India’s richest.
Murali Divi of Divi’s Laboratories leads the Telugu names with a net worth of ₹88,800 crore, ranking 25th nationally. Megha Engineering founders PP Reddy and PP Krishna Reddy stand at 70th, while GMR Group chairman Grandhi Mallikarjuna Rao ranks 83rd. Apollo Hospitals founder Dr Prathap C. Reddy is placed 86th, Hetero Group chairman B. Parthasarathi Reddy follows at 89th, and K. Satish Reddy of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories secures 91st position.
Most Telugu billionaires in the list come from the pharma and infrastructure sectors, proving once again that these industries remain strong pillars of Telugu enterprise.
