“TS” Officially Changed To “TG”

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has released a notification, officially changing the Telangana vehicles’ registration mark from TS to TG.

It was stated that the change had been made in the gazette notification according to Section 41 (6) of the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988. The TS in the Telangana section of the notification at row 29A has been updated to TG.

After Congress came into power, Revanth Reddy-led government decided to change the registration mark to TG from TS. The request has been sent to the Union Ministry and is now approved.

From now on, all vehicles registered in Telangana will get the mark TG instead of TS.
