Thalapathy Vijay Should Learn From Nara Lokesh

Vijay and Nara Lokesh leadership contrast

A stampede at the Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Kasibugga has claimed nine lives, and the toll may rise further. This is the third such tragedy under the current government, putting its leadership under immense pressure.

People rarely blame governments for accidents like these. They usually accept them as fate. But when such incidents repeat, accountability becomes unavoidable. The Chandrababu Naidu Government now faces that exact moment.

Soon after the incident, Minister Nara Lokesh reached Kasibugga and met the victims. He assured full medical care and government support for those injured. He also faced the media and answered every question directly.

The government is cornered, but Lokesh’s response shows real leadership. Even when people are angry, they appreciate honesty and accountability. That’s something Tamil superstar Vijay needs to understand.

When the Karur stampede took lives, Vijay left for Chennai without visiting the victims or their families. Days later, he released a condolence video. Only after more days did he meet the victims and families at a resort — a move that appeared insensitive and hurt his political image.

When tragedies happen, people don’t expect miracles. They just want empathy and accountability. Lokesh showed both, proving that leadership isn’t about power but responsibility. Vijay can take a lesson from that.

Still, Lokesh’s quick response doesn’t erase the government’s failure to prevent repeated accidents. It’s time the administration acts firmly and ensures such tragedies never happen again.
