With elections around the corner, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is after the financial roots of the Eenadu group by trying to hit Margadarshi. The Government is keen on grabbing Margadarshi’s 790 Crore fund so that the entire Eenadu group comes to its knees.
Similar attempts happened during YSR’s tenure, But then and now, Eenadu fought the Government relentlessly with renewed vigor.
For the last couple of months, Eenadu is making the Government suffocated with many investigative stories exposing the failures. Sakshi has become clueless as YSR Congress in dealing with Ramoji Rao.
Sakshi has dedicated itself to carrying counter stories to Eenadu’s investigative stories.
On most occasions, we only see the Paper churning out hollow counters that are more about Personal attacks and insensitive cartoons than giving a proper counter.
In complete contrast, Eenadu never publishes counter stories to Sakshi or the rubbish churned out through Undavalli.
Sakshi is almost in a position where it can not think beyond Ramoji Rao and Eenadu. These attempts are only increasing the resolve of Ramoji Rao. We have seen an increase in the intensity of Eenadu’s articles and also the language.
Usually, that intensity is only seen in ‘Panchajanyam’ Special Editions during Elections. Jagan blindly trusting Undavalli Arun Kumar brought it on to himself much in advance.
Jagan Government tried to plant specific advertisements in Eenadu strategically to promote his Agenda. The Government hoped Ramoji Rao will fall for the Advertisements’ money.
But Eenadu stunned the Chief Minister by rejecting all Government Ads until the elections.
Margadarshi’s issue is in Supreme Court. It is not possible to do something hastily or that can backfire too.
When the case is in the Supreme Court, the options of the APCID are very limited.
In all possible ways, Ramoji Rao is a bigger enemy for Jagan today than the Opposition. He also brought all this on to himself blindered with power due to his highheadedness and arrogance.
