Why Jagan’s Photo On Land Passbook?

Chandrababu Naidu

The Land Titling Act has become a hot topic in Andhra Pradesh elections, sparking heated debates among politicians.

Opposition parties, led by Telugu Desam chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu, questioned having Jagan Mohan Reddy’s photo on land registration passbooks. Naidu promised to end this practice when his three-party alliance wins the next assembly election.

During meetings in Darsi, Nuzvid, and Kakinada city, Chandrababu Naidu strongly criticized CM YS Jagan. He showed a passbook with Jagan’s photo, asking, “Whose passbook is this? Whose land is this? The farmer’s or Jagan’s? Why is psycho Jagan’s photo on it?” Naidu vowed to issue passbooks with people’s photos if he returns to power.

On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan and Nara Lokesh make a point to highlight this issue whenever they address a public gathering.

This has quickly become a strong weapon for opposition parties, and the most important thing is they are successful in creating a public debate around this issue.

Chandrababu Naidu assured that he would immediately remove YS Jagan’s photo from the land passbooks and promised to print the landowner’s photo instead of Jagan.
