While the Government’s reaction is appreciable, it should be proactive than reactive on such issues.
An Opposition Party with just eleven seats and not even the Opposition Status is throwing challenges to the most popular Government, and that too, it is just one year after the elections.
Amaravati supporters have faced similar humiliation while Jagan was in Power, and nothing changed even after the TDP came to power.
This is completely not acceptable.
Between 2019 and 2024, Amaravati farmers and women have suffered a lot. At least now, there should be a message that no one will be spared if they mess with Amaravati and the farmers.
If this is the way they behave, it only indicates they do not respect the people or fear the Government.
It’s high time the Government sends a strong message, or the YSR Congress supporters will become even ruthless.
Neither Jagan nor Sakshi apologized for the heinous remarks made on Live TV.
They just tried to dissociate from the issue but did not apologize after insulting the women of Amaravati.
Now, they have the audacity to attack women right under the nose of the Police.
This is something the women across the state should know and understand.
That is the responsibility of the TDP, and setting right these unruly elements should be the responsibility of the Government.
