Under immense pressure and facing massive public backlash, YouTuber Anvesh released what he described as an apology video. Instead of easing tensions, the video further exposed his attitude and only intensified public anger. While he repeatedly claimed that his words had been misunderstood and insisted that he was not anti-Hindu, viewers widely dismissed the video as fake, arrogant, and a poorly executed damage control exercise.
Anvesh offered verbal apologies to Sita, Draupadi, Garikapati Narasimha Rao, and Hindu organizations. However, these apologies were immediately overshadowed by his continued use of insulting, abusive, and provocative language. Rather than expressing genuine remorse, he mixed so called regret with curses, aggressive statements, and reckless challenges invoking divine punishment. Many viewers felt this approach mocked faith instead of respecting it and further insulted religious sentiments.
In one particularly controversial statement, he claimed that if his intentions were pure and people were still trolling him, then those individuals would face serious misfortune throughout the year. He added that if people genuinely believed he was at fault, they could accept his apology. Otherwise, the matter should be left to Lord Ganesha to decide. These remarks were widely condemned as irresponsible, arrogant, and deeply offensive.
Adding to the outrage, Anvesh casually mentioned that he was currently in Thailand and planned to relax by getting a massage and watching a good movie later that night. This flippant tone, delivered amid a serious controversy involving religious sentiments, made viewers even angrier and further inflamed public resentment.
Many accused him of once again normalizing the filthiest, cheapest, and most vulgar commentary about Hindus, Indians, and Hindu gods, even while pretending to seek forgiveness. Social media erupted with renewed fury, and the hatred against him multiplied rapidly. Older videos in which he had previously made offensive remarks resurfaced and began circulating widely, reinforcing claims that his behavior reflected a long-standing pattern rather than a one-time mistake. Across platforms, users are now bashing him relentlessly, tearing apart both his past and present statements.
Political and religious groups responded strongly. BJP leaders in Telangana staged protests in Mulugu district, burned his effigy, and demanded his immediate arrest. They also demanded a complete ban on his YouTube channel, arguing that digital platforms must not be allowed to promote such venom.
With Anvesh reportedly staying abroad, Hindu organizations such as the VHP and angry citizens are demanding that authorities bring him back to India and initiate strict legal action. The situation has now escalated far beyond a simple controversy. Public sentiment is clear and unforgiving.
