Bill Gates recently addressed his team at the Gates Foundation about mistakes from his past. During an internal meeting, he admitted to having affairs with two Russian women. He said one was a bridge player and the other a nuclear physicist.
According to Gates, the late Jeffrey Epstein became aware of these relationships. He claimed that Epstein attempted to use this information to blackmail him. The remarks surfaced soon after fresh U.S. government documents on Epstein’s activities were made public.
Gates described his meetings with Epstein as a serious mistake. He said he deeply regretted the association and apologised to those affected by the fallout. He also noted that his ex wife, Melinda, had expressed discomfort about Epstein from the beginning.
While acknowledging poor judgement, Gates clarified that he never had any contact with Epstein’s victims. He stated that he is taking full responsibility for his past actions. He added that he remains focused on continuing his work at the Gates Foundation.
