Even though Chinese manja is banned some people still sell it for a few extra rupees. Others buy it without caring about the danger. This careless demand keeps a deadly product in circulation every festive season.

In such incidents it is almost impossible to trace who is responsible. An innocent person becomes a victim of someone else’s game. The real culprits often walk away without facing any consequence for the harm they cause.

This manja does not only hurt riders. It also kills children pedestrians birds and animals. Its sharp edges can slice skin easily making it a serious threat to everyone on the streets and in open spaces.

Strict action is needed to fully stop its sale and use. More than laws people must act with responsibility. If buyers refuse to purchase it illegal sellers will have no reason to continue selling such dangerous material.

Festivals should be about happiness not tragedy. No celebration is worth a human life. Respect safety and protect others so that joy does not turn into grief for any family.
