Simping on Twitter is not a new phenomenon. We have seen various cases of people going to great lengths just to seek validation from a girl. The recent case is a slightly different phenomenon, as this time the “simp lord” is not a regular guy but Markandey Katju, an Indian jurist and former judge of the Supreme Court of India.
What’s even more surprising is that the person involved is a famous personality. The most astonishing aspect, however, is that he is simping for Pakistani women. Katju tweeted, “I must confess one thing: Pakistani ladies are more beautiful than their Indian counterparts. (With all due respect to my Indian sisters.)” Just when the popular influencer Rupa Murthy commented, “Mr. Katju is sister-zoning the ladies for a change,” his quirky reply was, “Where were you all this while, Rupa? I was missing you.” This response has everyone laughing uncontrollably.
It’s widely acknowledged that Pakistani women possess an extraordinary level of beauty. Nevertheless, expressing such sentiments on a public platform like Twitter, especially given his status as an important figure, feels a bit awkward. Nobody denies the beauty of Pakistani girls.
Even in retrospect, we have witnessed people being captivated by the charisma of a Pakistani political leader Kashmala Tariq. Thus, this is not entirely new news. However, Twitter’s algorithms certainly contribute to making the platform entertaining enough for its users.
