Google is a place we all love, from searching for a recipe to trying to find a song by humming; it is the platform where we quench all our information thirst. Besides being the number one search engine, Google has gifted us with many memorable moments that have made us laugh.
Their recent billboards throughout Delhi and Mumbai are becoming people’s favorites. These ads not only showcase their diverse search engine but also capture the essence of India.
The campaign is called ‘Yeh Kisne Dhoonda’ (Who searched it), and in these ads, Google displays certain images accompanied by some funny search results.
In one of the ads, Google shows an image of suspenders, RRR style, followed by funny search results like ‘how to be a mega power star’ and ‘naatu step ela veyali.’
In another tribute to SRK, Google displays an image of a mandolin along with search phrases such as ‘Sarson ke Khet near me,’ ‘How many K’s does Kiran have,’ and ‘Arm spreading exercise.’
They also capitalize on the iconic memes of ‘Paani Paani’ and ‘Gopi Bahu,’ and one can even spot a nod to Delhi’s love for Chole Bhature.
