The 41 year old man was attending a wedding in Jamshedpur. While enjoying the meal, he reportedly choked on a Rasgulla, a popular Indian sweet.
Within minutes, he lost consciousness at the venue. Family members and guests rushed him to a nearby hospital in an attempt to save his life.
Doctors later confirmed that he was brought dead. A post mortem revealed that the Rasgulla had blocked his airways, which led to suffocation and death due to lack of oxygen.
