A shocking incident has surfaced from Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. The body of a missing man was found inside a deep freezer at a biryani shop in the Bakshi Ka Talab area. The discovery has left local residents stunned.
The shop had remained closed for a few days as the owner was away due to a family reason. On returning, he opened the freezer and found the body. He immediately alerted the police.
The deceased has been identified as Vijay Pal, a local resident. His mobile phone and identity card helped officials confirm his identity. At first glance, no visible injury marks were found on the body.
Police said the freezer’s power supply had been disconnected. As a result, there was no strong foul smell that could have drawn attention earlier. This detail has added another layer of mystery to the case.
Investigators have questioned family members and friends to gather clues. So far, no clear motive has emerged. Reports suggest Vijay Pal had separated from his wife several years ago and was living alone.
One of his slippers was found some distance away from the shop. This has raised further suspicion about the circumstances of his death. The body has been sent for post mortem examination.
