Modi Ji As Vishnu In Top University Exhibition

Modi Ji As Vishnu In Top University ExhibitionIn may 2013, a case was filed against Mahendra Singh Dhoni under section 295 of the IPC for ‘hurting the sentiments of Hindu community’ because of a morphed image. A magazine published a photo of him which was edited to make him look like Lord Vishnu. After the filing of the case, a local court also ordered the police to file an FIR.

Since then, a lot of such cases have appeared where morphed images of God and Goddesses have put people in trouble. But what happened in one of the biggest universities of the country is a bit shocking. A National Exhibition of Painting celebrating India’s hosting of G20 was organized in Banaras Hindu University( BHU) in which a huge painting of Narendra Modi was displayed on the stage. But this was no ordinary painting. In the painting, Narendra Modi was depicted as the Hindu Lord Vishnu.
