Lalu Prasad Yadav is one of the most prominent leaders of India. He is the former Cheif Minister of Bihar and the founder of RJD (Rashtriya Janta Dal). Apart from his political career, he had his fair share of controversial and funny statements in public. His outspoken nature often puts him or his opponent in hilarious situations.
These days a video is going viral which is a testament of Lalu Yadav’s wit and humor. In the video we see Lalu Yadav having an argument with another very famous political leader Mamta Banerjee. In this video of 21 seconds, where Mamta is accusing Lalu for deceiving the People out there. But Lalu’s epic reply make everyone rolling out loud. Even Atal Bihari Vajpayee couldn’t control his laughter.
The video is of a debate going in Atal Bihari Vajpeyee’s era. This debate was going in the House regarding the expansion of the cabinet. Targeting Mamta, Lalu Yadav said, “This is our sister Mamta, though modest, but strong.” Lalu proceeded that if we build, we will take the rail, then Nitish interrupted him saying that “they will not leave the rail.” Meanwhile, Lalu asked Mamata back, “Is it not true that a train was asked?” Then Mamta replied, “It was not asked,” just on this Lalu Yadav bursted the truth bomb saying, “So it was not asked. If it was there, you will not get it.” Also he finished his epic statement saying ‘Pagli’ which means Crazy in Hindi. And with this Lalu left everyone in splits. Even Mamta had no answer to this and so she accused Lalu for misleading the house. But it was of no use, The damage was done.
This was not the first time Lalu shocked everyone with his comedic nature. There are many instances where his we can see his wit outperforming his political battles, which is one of the reason why he is liked by the public even after his legal troubles.
