A lot has been said about the batting form of Virat Kohli in the recent past with the majority of the negative feedback coming on his strike rate. But with last night’s game, Kohli addressed this serious problem and played a refined innings that has curbed the negative feedback to an extent.

Incidentally, Kohli scored 92 runs off 47 deliveries in last night’s innings and he played with an impressive strike rate of 195.

Interestingly, Kohli even spoke about the strike rate factor later in the game last night as he jokingly said he is playing with his strike rate in mind. This is a positive reinforcement after having seen Kohli stutter in the middle period with poor strike rates.

At one point, there was even a discussion on whether Kohli must be benched in the final side due to the lethargic scoring rate but the star cricketer has announced himself again with last night’s quickfire innings.
