RCB’s IPL title victory sparked celebrations across several cities on Sunday night. However, multiple videos circulating on social media showed instances of public disturbances in Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Andhra Pradesh.
In Hyderabad, videos reportedly captured groups gathering on roads, bursting firecrackers, removing barricades and disrupting traffic movement. Police personnel were seen intervening in some areas to manage the crowds and restore order.
Bengaluru also witnessed large-scale celebrations following RCB’s maiden IPL title win. Several clips showed packed roads and traffic disruptions in different parts of the city as fans marked the occasion.
A video from Andhra Pradesh also gained attention online. The clip allegedly showed a group of fans damaging a public bus during the celebrations.
Following the viral footage, many social media users urged authorities to identify those responsible and take appropriate action. The incident triggered criticism from several quarters.
RCB’s title win remains a memorable moment for supporters. However, many people felt that celebrations should not come at the cost of public convenience or property damage.
Social media users pointed out that road blockages, vandalism and public disturbances can create difficulties for others. Many stressed that celebrations should remain peaceful and responsible.
