SRH has quickly become the most unpredictable side in the ongoing season of IPL. In some games, the Hyderabadi side scores 165 runs inside 10 overs which is a record in itself, and in other games, struggles to set targets and get bundled out cheaply.
In last night’s game, thanks to shambolic batting by KL Rahul and others, LSG scored a meager 164 runs which was chased inside the 10 over mark by SRH.
In the earlier game, the same SRH got bundled out for 173 runs which was in turn chased down by Mumbai in under 18 overs.
The pattern is such that SRH is either hitting the sky with the batting performances or hitting the rock bottom. The disparity here is huge and common ground must be found for the side to put up comprehensive performances in all the games.
By the current standards, SRH is showing either Aakasham(Elation) or Paathalam(distraught) to fans with their largely variable pattern of play.
If consistency can be found in the playoff stages, then sky is the limit for SRH in this year’s tournament.
