At just 14 years old, Vaibhav Suryavanshi is changing expectations for young batsmen. Each innings adds to his fast-rising story. His latest knock has pushed him into world record territory again.
Stunning Hundred at Eden Gardens
Suryavanshi struck an unbeaten 108 off 61 balls for Bihar against Maharashtra in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The match was played at Eden Gardens, a venue rich in cricket history. He reached his hundred in only 58 balls.
Dominant Stroke Play Against Strong Attack
He hit seven fours and seven sixes. The innings came against a strong bowling lineup of Rajvardhan Hangargekar, Jalaj Saxena and Arshin Kulkarni. The trio has troubled many batsmen but Suryavanshi stayed unfazed.
His Third T20 Century in Just 16 Innings
This was his third T20 hundred in 16 innings. All three have come for different teams which shows his impressive adaptability. His ability to adjust quickly has made him stand out.
Previous Record-Breaking Knocks
He earlier scored 101 off 38 balls for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025. That made him the world’s youngest men’s T20 centurion ever. His other special innings for India A in the Asia Cup Rising Stars was 144 off 42 balls, with a century reached in 32 balls.
A Rare Level of Calm and Control
Suryavanshi scores freely and handles pressure with ease. His maturity at 14 is remarkable. Bihar lost the match by three wickets with Prithvi Shaw scoring 66, but Suryavanshi’s hundred remained the highlight.
A Future Star in the Making
There is no sign of him slowing down. His records and consistency show that this may be only the beginning of something much bigger.
