With only a few days left until the release, the grand audio launch function of DC was held in Chennai yesterday and all the songs composed by Anirudh Ravichander for the film were released.
While Anirudh‘s background score titled Raga of Revenge, which featured in DC’s trailer, was already a viral hit, now the tracks Don’t Give a Damn and Namaste are receiving super positive responses from the audience.
Many listeners are now suggesting that Anirudh delivered a solid album and his work is one of the major USPs for DC. They also suggest that with the DC album, Anirudh Ravichander proved why he is one of the biggest music composers in Indian cinema.
They also claim that with lots of Carnatic blend, Anirudh cooked a solid album for the film DC and feel that Lokesh Kanagaraj and Anirudh are slowly turning out to be an iconic duo of Kollywood.
Meanwhile, some people feel that because of the stunning album by Anirudh, director Arun Matheshwaran is now at huge risk. They note that Anirudh has delivered his heart and soul for this film. They feel that in this situation, if the film ends up as a disappointment, all his efforts will go in vain. Ultimately, all 15 tracks composed by Anirudh for the film DC are receiving super positive responses and it remains to be seen whether DC will satisfy the expectations of the audience and emerge as a blockbuster success upon its release on August 7th.
