In this scenario, now there is strong speculation that director Aanand L Rai, following the success of Tere Ishk Mein, is planning to direct an ambitious period romantic film with Dhanush and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles.
Since Tere Ishk Mein was a massive success and Anand L Rai feels that Dhanush and Kriti Sanon have solid onscreen chemistry and are powerful performers, the director wants to collaborate with them again for a massive rom-com made on a huge budget.
Furthermore, reports suggest that the script work of this film is currently in the writing stage and the director plans to start shooting for this film by the end of this year.

They suggest that after multiple collaborations, Dhanush’s performances in Anand L Rai’s films have become repetitive. Since all their collaborations have been intense romantic films, they feel the duo is reaching a saturation point.
Additionally, they are raising questions about why Dhanush is collaborating with Aanand L Rai so frequently. They believe Aanand L Rai is not an extraordinary director, so Dhanush should stop collaborating with him often and should work with a variety of directors instead.
Therefore, they note that if Anand L Rai makes a unique film, Dhanush might choose to act in it; otherwise, he should skip this repetitive collaboration and concentrate on his already announced lineup.
