
Director Gautham Vasudev Menon is currently awaiting the release of his movie Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse, starring Mammootty in the lead. This movie is slated for a theatrical release on January 23rd.
With a few days left until the release, Gautham Vasudev Menon has been actively promoting the film through interviews on popular YouTube channels. In one of his recent interviews, he opened up about his regret regarding Suriya, which has now gone viral on social media.

Gautham Vasudev Menon revealed that, initially, Suriya was supposed to play the lead role in Dhruva Natchathiram. However, Suriya declined the offer despite their previous blockbuster collaborations in Kaakha Kaakha and Vaaranam Aayiram.
He expressed his disappointment, stating that Suriya should have trusted him. He also mentioned that he made every effort to convince Suriya but was unsuccessful, which left him upset.

Dhruva Natchathiram is a long-pending project starring Vikram in the lead. Although the film was shot in 2018, it has not yet been released due to financial issues.
Fans who are already traumatized by the failure of Kanguva are happy that Suriya didn’t do Dhruva Natchathiram which is struggling to get released even after 5 years of completion.
