Dhanush’s 3rd directorial venture, Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK), starring fresh talents such as Pavish and Anikha Surender in the lead roles, was released in theatres on February 21st and has received mixed responses from the audiences and critics.
Despite the positive responses to the movie, many people after watching NEEK have criticised the acting performance of debutant Pavish as not convincing and have delivered a lethargic performance in the movie.

Also, we can see some social media users raised questions on social media against Dhanush about why he has selected Pavish to act as a lead and whether he is supporting nepotism, as Pavish is his nephew.
Apart from Pavish, every other actor in the movie has delivered their best, and Mathew Thomas and Ramya Ranganathan have even earned a lot of appreciation for their acting performances in the movie.

Even though Pavish is a debutant in acting, he should have put in a little bit of extra effort, as being a lead in a promising project, he has delivered a flat performance; his effortless acting in the movie is the major reason for the average reviews for the movie, say some Kollywood audiences.
