Dhanush’s 3rd Directorial venture Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK) starring fresh talents such as Pavish, and Anikha Surender in the lead roles was released in theatres yesterday and is receiving positive responses from the audiences.
Even though, NEEK is not a Blockbuster success in terms of Box office collections, many people after watching the movie appreciate Dhanush for delivering a light-hearted rom-com movie, which is true to its genre.

Dhanush’s last movie as a director was Raayan, which is also his 50th movie as an actor was a tremendous success in Box collections and collected around 150 crores worldwide.
Despite the box office success of Raayan, Kollywood audiences were not satisfied with the movie and commented that Dhanush should better continue acting, and quit Direction, as Raayan felt flat and amateur in making.

But now, after NEEK, we can see Netizens on social media appreciating Dhanush for his direction in the movie and commenting that Dhanush is slowly rising as a promising director in Kollywood.
However, apart from cities like Chennai, NEEK movie’s occupancy in theatres was very low, and many people were showing interest in watching Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dragon this weekend. Let us see how NEEK performs in the box office collections in the coming days.
