Producer Thanu, who is a popular producer in Kollywood, in a recent interview opened up about STR’s next movie with Desingh Periyasamy, which has now gone viral on social media.
Thanu has said that Desingh Periyasamy initially narrated the script of STR 48 to top league actors from the Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada industries, and everyone liked the script.
But Desingh Periyasamy got committed to Silambarasan TR, and because of that, it had budget issues. Thanu added that if any producer comes forward to produce the movie, it will be two times bigger than Baahubali.
This video has now gone viral, and many people on social media are responding that if Thanu liked the script, he should have produced it. But without showing interest in producing the movie, he is just claiming that it’s one of the best scripts.
Also, since the shooting hasn’t even started yet, Thanu saying that it will be two times bigger than Baahubali is not acceptable, as it’s creating unnecessary expectations, and it may end up becoming a hindrance to the success of the movie, say the audience.
